Due to the sudden cancelation of schools by cause of the spreading Coronavirus, we suppose many students and parents are confused right now, therefore we will introduce you to some useful websites that might help you reach important information needed. The information provided is only by the time we have posted and may not be up to date, as a result, there may be some changes in the situation.

Coronavirus has been found in Japan as well as in other countries. When infected by Coronavirus, it will show symptoms such as high fever and dry coughs. Coronavirus is contagious and it can be spread from coughs and sneezes.

To prevent yourself from getting infected by the coronavirus, the following actions are important;

・Wash your hands carefully using soaps and hand sanitizers.
(especially after you get home, before cooking, and before eating)
・If you have a cough, use masks to prevent from spreading
・If you have a chronic disease or are in a bad condition, avoid going to crowded places
・If you have a fever, do not go to school or your workplace

Following people should call the health care center or the returnee contact center

・When you have a dry cough or fever over 37.5℃ for over 4days
(2 days for people who have a chronic disease)
・If you're feeling strong tiredness or weakness

003 Free Meals for Elementry and Junior High Students

Given that schools are being canceled due to the spreading Coronavirus, Watami announced a new delivery service, “Watami’s Meal Delivery” which serves healthy and free meals for elementary, junior high and high school students. (delivery fee will cost ¥200 for each meal)

Orders will be taken on a weekly basis and will be served only on weekdays.

Please understand that meals are only available for students aged 3 to 18 who attend schools that are being closed during this season. Therefore, showing an insurance card or a student ID is required for age confirmation.
They will be out of order as soon as the numbers reach their limits.

Since December 2019, pneumonia cases associated with the new coronavirus (CO-VID19) have been reported, and cases have been reported all over the world including Japan. Standard recommendations to prevent the infection from spreading, include regular hand washing. Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water especially when going out, after coughing, and before touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. The flu and the common cold are also doing the rounds in this season.
